These terms govern your use of the Kairos platform. By creating an account or using the API, you agree to them.

Last updated: June 2026

The service

Kairos provides an OpenAI-compatible AI gateway with routing, context compression, compliance enforcement, agent governance, automated jobs, and usage analytics. Features available to you depend on your subscription and configuration.

Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your API keys and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You must be authorized to bind your organization to these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Kairos to violate any law, infringe rights, or attempt to bypass the security, compliance, or budget controls of the platform. We may suspend access for usage that threatens the integrity of the service or other customers.

Billing

Paid plans are billed based on token volume and the plan you select. Fees are charged through Stripe. Usage metering is described in your dashboard and in our pricing page.

Third-party models and services

When you route requests to a model provider, that provider’s terms also apply to the request. Kairos is not responsible for the content or availability of third-party models.

Warranty and liability

The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kairos disclaims implied warranties and limits liability to the amounts paid in the prior twelve months.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
